Well, even if there has been a snowfall this weekend, we are still looking forward to a sunny, dry and enjoyable season of golf…..starting in April! Soon we’ll be wearing shorts and slapping on sunscreen and laughing at our incredible shots! It may be hard to imagine right now, but for those of us counting down the days, a little something to look forward to is another year of golf with the Wednesday Ladies at Nico Wynd!
Such a great season of golf! Great weather, lots of fun games and many upgrades to the course and clubhouse made for a wonderful 7 months of golf for our Wednesday Ladies. We are looking forward to our year-end luncheon in a few weeks, and making plans for the 2017 season which starts next April. New members are welcome to join. $135.00 Membership fee! $110.00 if you pay before February 1, 2017.

The Course is in great shape! We’ve played 6 rounds of lovely golf, so far this spring. The weather has been awesome and the golf couldn’t be better! We’ve got some new members enjoying their first season with us and we look forward to helping them feel welcome and at ease!
It’s only the first week of January but before we know it spring will be upon us and almost 100 women golfers will be teeing off on another season of golf at Nico Wynd – the picturesque course on the banks of the Nicomekl River in South Surrey.
There’s room for more new members to join us in the Nico Wynd Wednesday Ladies Club for 2015.

The Wednesday Ladies play every week from April to October with fun matches and interesting games on the card to keep everyone challenged and engaged in friendly competition. The League has welcomed women from across the lower mainland for more than 25 years.

To play in this league, members need a handicap of 40 or less. “Whether you are new to organized league play, getting back to the fairways, or in the middle of your golf story, weekly play is not only an excellent form of exercise, it’s the best way to improve your skills – And you get to have fun with a great group of ladies,” says Judy Irvine, longtime member and 2013 club champion.
